Welcome to my new home page. There is a reason for the mis-spelling of Samarcand which I will return to later. Probably.
I'm currently writing this page whilst working through the book "Teach Yourself Web Publishing With HTML 4 In A Week" (and the help - or hindrance - of my cat, Scully) so it should improve over time. Or at least that's the theory. If you want, you can pretend that it's got one of those silly 'Under Construction' icons. You never know, it might do. Once I work out how to put them on.
So, over the next few weeks, you should see more colour, images, frames and pages. Can you stand the suspense?
Anyway, this is meant to be an introduction, so I'd better introduce myself - it's the 'David Copperfield crap' as Holden Caulfield would put it. If you already know who I am you can just skip this bit....
My name is Stephen Mellor. I'm 28 and live in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in North Eastern England.
On these pages I'm going to discuss (to sound dead literary for a moment) my various interests. It's not going to be particularly coherent, but then, I often try to avoid coherence. It'll be a mish-mash of anything I fancy putting up here. Initially, this will include a book diary, some of my original fiction, some links (of course), a page or two on comic books and something about my alter ego. It will, almost undoubtedly, grow to cover many other things.
